Last updated: 25 October 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. [TO BE COMPLETED: state which language version prevails in case of discrepancy — recommend counsel decide.]
1. Purpose and acceptance
These general terms of use and sale (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the QUANTYX Terminal service, and the purchase of paid subscriptions.
The Service is provided by AMBER AND JASMINE LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15098970, whose registered office is at 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU, United Kingdom (“we”, “us” or the “Publisher”). Contact: [TO BE COMPLETED: e-mail address].
By creating an account or taking out a subscription, you accept these Terms in full, which you acknowledge having read before confirming your order. They are available at all times on the website and can be downloaded or printed.
2. Definitions
- Service: the QUANTYX Terminal platform accessed through a web browser, together with its features and content.
- User: any person who holds an account on the Service.
- Customer: the individual or legal entity that takes out a subscription and pays its price.
- Consumer: a Customer who is an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
- Business Customer: a Customer acting for the purposes of their trade, business, craft or profession, including any legal entity.
- Account holder (manager): on the Team plan, the User who administers the subscription, the members and their rights.
- Third-party Content: market data, news, economic data and other information supplied by third-party providers or public sources.
- AI Analyses: text, summaries and analyses generated automatically using third-party language models.
3. Description of the Service
QUANTYX Terminal is a financial market analysis terminal accessed through a web browser. Depending on the plan, it provides access in particular to:
- market data screens, charts, news and an economic calendar;
- options analytics tools;
- portfolio risk analytics tools (value at risk or “VaR”, stress tests, factor exposure) and a scenario library;
- a quantitative “lab” for testing indicators out of sample;
- analysis assistants based on artificial intelligence;
- watchlists with alerts (in the application, by browser notification and, optionally, via Telegram).
The exact content of each plan is shown on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.
3.1 An information tool, not an investment service
The Service is solely an information and analysis tool. It does not place any orders, does not manage any money and does not hold any assets on behalf of the User. The Publisher is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and does not provide any investment advice, personal recommendation, portfolio management, or reception, transmission or execution of orders.
The information, analyses, alerts and AI Analyses are provided for general information purposes only. They do not take into account the User's financial situation, objectives, time horizon or risk tolerance and do not constitute an offer, a solicitation or an inducement to buy or sell any financial instrument. The User alone takes all their investment decisions, at their own responsibility. See also the Risk warning and no-advice notice, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
3.2 Connecting a brokerage account
If the User chooses to connect an account held with a broker (for example Interactive Brokers), the connection is established on a read-only basis: the Service may view positions and account information in order to analyse them, but cannot transmit any order or make any movement of funds. The relationship between the User and their broker remains governed exclusively by the broker's own terms.
4. Account creation and security
Access to the Service requires an account. The User must be of legal age and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. The User undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
Depending on the case, the User may sign in:
- with an e-mail address and password: upon invitation or registration, the User receives a sign-in link and, separately, a temporary password which must be changed at the first sign-in;
- via “Sign in with Google” or “Sign in with Microsoft” (OAuth protocol).
Two-factor authentication is available (TOTP authenticator app, or via Google or Microsoft accounts). The Publisher may make it mandatory for certain plans or features.
Credentials are strictly personal and confidential. The User is responsible for keeping them safe and for any use of their account. The User must inform the Publisher without delay of any unauthorised use or suspected compromise.
4.1 Team plan
On the Team plan, the Account holder invites members and grants and withdraws their access rights, within the number of seats subscribed. Each seat corresponds to a single named User; a seat may not be shared between several people. The Customer ensures that each member accepts and complies with these Terms and is responsible for their compliance.
5. Plans, prices and payment
5.1 Plans and prices
The plans offered at the date of the last update of these Terms are as follows:
- Individual (Particulier): US$70 per month;
- Pro: US$299 per month;
- Team (Équipe): US$700 per month, including 3 seats.
Prices are stated in US dollars (USD) [TO BE COMPLETED: inclusive / exclusive of VAT — for Consumers, displayed prices must include all taxes]. Annual payment benefits from a 20% discount compared with the total of twelve monthly payments; the exact annual amount is shown on the Pricing page and in the order summary.
The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of the order and repeated in the summary before confirmation. Any applicable VAT is determined in accordance with the regulations in force, in particular according to the Consumer's country of residence.
5.2 Ordering
Orders are placed online. Before confirming, the Customer can check the details of the order (plan, billing period, total price, taxes) and correct any errors. Confirming the order using the button provided for that purpose entails an obligation to pay. The Publisher sends the Customer an order confirmation by e-mail, on a durable medium, including these Terms.
5.3 Payment
Payment is made by the methods offered at the time of the order, through our payment provider [TO BE COMPLETED: name of the payment provider, e.g. Stripe]. The Publisher does not have access to full payment card details, which are processed directly by that provider. The price is payable in advance, at the start of each subscription period (monthly or annual).
If a payment fails, the Publisher may, after informing the Customer and allowing a reasonable period to settle the amount, suspend access to the Service until payment is made.
5.4 Price changes
The Publisher may change its prices for the future. Any price change applicable to an ongoing subscription is notified to the Customer by e-mail at least 30 days before it takes effect and applies only from the next renewal period. A Customer who does not accept the change may cancel the subscription before that date, at no cost.
6. Term, renewal and cancellation
6.1 Automatic renewal
The subscription is entered into for a period of one month or one year, according to the billing period chosen. It renews automatically for an identical period, at the price then in force, unless the Customer cancels before the end of the current period.
For annual subscriptions taken out by a Consumer resident in France, the Publisher informs the Consumer in writing, no earlier than three months and no later than one month before the end of the period during which renewal may be refused, of the option not to renew the contract, in accordance with Article L. 215-1 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation). For Consumers resident in the United Kingdom, the subscription contract rules of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 will apply once in force [TO BE COMPLETED: counsel to confirm the UK reminder-notice and cancellation requirements and their commencement date].
6.2 Cancellation by the Customer
The Customer may cancel the subscription at any time, directly from the account settings, using a cancellation feature that is easily and directly accessible, or by writing to [TO BE COMPLETED: e-mail address]. A cancellation confirmation is sent by e-mail.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period. The Customer retains access to the Service until that date. Unless otherwise provided by law (in particular the exercise of the right of withdrawal under section 7 or a breach by the Publisher), the current period is not refunded.
6.3 End of the contract
At the end of the contract, access to the account is deactivated. The data associated with the account is retained and then deleted under the conditions described in the Privacy policy. Before the end of the subscription, the Customer may export the data they have entered where this feature is available.
7. Consumers' right of withdrawal (right to cancel)
7.1 Principle
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and, for Consumers resident in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Consumer has a period of fourteen (14) days from the conclusion of the contract (subscription) to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason and without incurring any costs other than those provided for below.
This right does not apply to Business Customers.
7.2 Immediate performance at the Consumer's request
As the Service is a digital service supplied by subscription, its performance may begin as soon as the subscription is taken out. When ordering, the Consumer may expressly request, by ticking a box provided for that purpose, that performance of the Service begins before the end of the withdrawal period.
- If the Consumer makes this request and then exercises the right of withdrawal within the 14-day period, the Consumer must pay an amount proportionate to the service supplied up to the time they informed us of their decision to withdraw, calculated pro rata to the total price of the subscribed period. The balance is refunded.
- If the Consumer does not make this request, access to the Service begins only once the withdrawal period has expired.
The right of withdrawal may be exercised once only, upon the first subscription; it does not apply to automatic renewals of the same subscription. [TO BE COMPLETED / TO BE CONFIRMED: position on renewals and changes of plan.]
7.3 How to exercise the right
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must inform us of their decision by an unequivocal statement, sent by e-mail to [TO BE COMPLETED: e-mail address] or by post to the registered office, or by using the model form below (use of which is not compulsory). An acknowledgement of receipt is sent without delay on a durable medium.
The Publisher refunds the sums due to the Consumer no later than fourteen (14) days from receipt of the decision to withdraw, using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed otherwise, and at no cost to the Consumer.
7.4 Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To AMBER AND JASMINE LTD, 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU, United Kingdom — [TO BE COMPLETED: e-mail address]:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following service: QUANTYX Terminal subscription, plan …………
Ordered on: …………
Name of consumer: …………
Account e-mail address: …………
Address of consumer: …………
Signature of consumer (only if this form is notified on paper): …………
Date: …………
8. Availability and changes to the Service
The Publisher uses reasonable efforts to make the Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as an obligation of means (best-efforts basis). No guaranteed level of availability is offered, unless specifically agreed in writing with a Business Customer.
Access may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance, updates or security operations, in the event of failure of networks, the hosting provider or data providers, or in the event of force majeure. The Publisher endeavours to give Users notice of scheduled maintenance.
The Publisher may change the Service, in particular its features, data sources or providers, in order to improve it or to comply with regulations. Where a change significantly reduces an essential feature of the subscribed plan, the Customer is informed and may cancel the subscription; where applicable, the Consumer is refunded pro rata for the unused period.
Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services under Articles L. 224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (or, in the United Kingdom, the rights provided by the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
9. Market data and Third-party Content
Market data, news and economic data come from licensed providers [TO BE COMPLETED: name of the data provider(s)] and from public sources (including US SEC EDGAR, FRED/ALFRED, CFTC, US Treasury, EIA). They may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or interrupted. They are not necessarily real-time unless stated otherwise.
The Publisher does not control these sources and gives no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of Third-party Content. The User should verify any important information against an official source before taking a decision.
Third-party Content is made available for the User's personal and internal use only, within the limits of the licences granted by its providers. It may not be redistributed, resold or published.
10. Analyses produced by artificial intelligence
AI Analyses are generated automatically using large language models supplied by third parties (including DeepSeek and Anthropic Claude). They may be wrong, incomplete, out of date or inconsistent, and may present false information with apparent confidence.
AI Analyses are not investment advice or personal recommendations. They are not reviewed by a human before being displayed. The User should treat them merely as a starting point for reflection and verify them independently.
To produce these analyses, market data, the User's questions and, only if the User enables it, their portfolio positions are sent to the model provider. The terms of this processing are described in the Privacy policy. The User should refrain from entering into the AI assistants personal data relating to third parties or sensitive information that is not necessary.
11. Alerts
Alerts (in the application, by browser notification or via Telegram) are provided for information only. Their sending and receipt depend on technical factors outside the Publisher's control (networks, browser, device settings, the Telegram service, data availability). An alert may be delayed, missed or triggered in error. The User must not rely exclusively on alerts to monitor their positions.
12. User obligations and acceptable use
The User undertakes to use the Service for its intended purpose, in accordance with these Terms and the law. In particular, the User must not:
- extract or collect data or content from the Service by automated means (“scraping”, bots, harvesting), except through an interface expressly made available for that purpose;
- redistribute, resell, publish, disseminate or make available to third parties any data, Third-party Content or AI Analyses obtained through the Service, other than for personal and internal use;
- share their credentials or allow another person to use their account or seat;
- use the Service to provide regulated services to third parties, in particular investment advice, portfolio management or investment recommendations, without holding the required authorisations, or present the content of the Service as advice;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent security measures, usage limits or access restrictions;
- disrupt the operation of the Service, introduce malicious code into it or carry out penetration tests without written authorisation;
- decompile or reverse-engineer the software, except where permitted by law;
- use the Service for unlawful purposes, in particular market manipulation or market abuse.
The User is solely responsible for the data they enter into the Service and warrants that they hold the necessary rights to it.
13. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, interface and databases, and the “QUANTYX Terminal” name and mark are owned by AMBER AND JASMINE LTD or its licensors. The Publisher grants the User, for the duration of the subscription, a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-assignable right to access and use the Service for their own needs, in accordance with these Terms. No other right is granted.
The User retains the rights in the data they enter (watchlists, portfolios, settings, questions). The User grants the Publisher the right to process that data solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
14. Liability
14.1 Principles
The Publisher is bound by an obligation of means in providing the Service. The User acknowledges that the Service is an information and analysis tool and that they alone take their investment decisions. Accordingly, the Publisher is not liable for the investment decisions taken by the User or their outcome, including losses incurred on the financial markets, provided that the Service has been supplied in accordance with these Terms.
The Publisher is not liable for damage resulting from use of the Service that does not comply with these Terms, from an act of the User, from the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party, or from force majeure.
14.2 Consumers
As regards Consumers, the Publisher is liable for the proper performance of the contract under the conditions laid down by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Publisher's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for gross negligence (faute lourde), or deprives the Consumer of the rights conferred by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity.
14.3 Business Customers
As regards Business Customers, and to the extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for indirect loss, such as loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunity or data, and its total liability, for all causes combined, is limited to the amount actually paid by the Customer for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply in the event of death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or gross or wilful misconduct.
15. Suspension and termination by the Publisher
The Publisher may suspend access to an account, in whole or in part, in the event of a breach of these Terms by the User, non-payment, a risk to the security of the Service or its Users, or at the request of a competent authority. Except in an emergency or where required by law, the User is informed beforehand and invited to remedy the breach.
In the event of a serious or repeated breach, or a breach not remedied within fifteen (15) days of formal notice, the Publisher may terminate the contract by written notice. Sums corresponding to the current period remain due to the Publisher, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.
The Publisher may also discontinue the Service or a plan on at least thirty (30) days' notice; sums paid in advance for the unused period are then refunded pro rata.
16. Personal data
The processing of personal data carried out in connection with the Service is described in the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy.
17. Changes to these Terms
The Publisher may amend these Terms, in particular to reflect changes to the Service or to regulations. Material changes are notified to the Customer by e-mail or within the Service at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. A Customer who does not accept the new Terms may cancel the subscription before they take effect; the Consumer is then refunded pro rata for the unused period. Otherwise, the new Terms apply from their effective date.
18. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held to be void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. Failure by the Publisher to enforce a breach does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later. The Customer may not assign the contract without the Publisher's prior consent. These Terms were drafted in French; where translated, the French version prevails as regards French-speaking Customers. [TO BE COMPLETED: align with the prevailing-language decision stated at the top of this page.]
19. Governing law, complaints and disputes
19.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by English law (the law of England and Wales). However, in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (“Rome I”), this choice may not deprive a Consumer habitually resident in a Member State of the European Union of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
19.2 Complaints
For any complaint, the Customer should first contact customer service at [TO BE COMPLETED: e-mail address]. The Publisher endeavours to respond within thirty (30) days.
19.3 Consumer mediation
If a prior written complaint is unsuccessful, the Consumer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator: [TO BE COMPLETED: name, address and website of the designated consumer mediator]. The list of notified mediators is available on the European Commission website and on the French Ministry of the Economy website (economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso).
19.4 Jurisdiction
Failing amicable resolution, disputes with a Business Customer fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. A Consumer may bring proceedings, at their choice, before the courts of their place of residence or those of England and Wales, and may be sued only before the courts of their place of residence, in accordance with the applicable mandatory rules.
